Celebrities On Twitter

Let me start with some exciting news: I got a notification from Twitter earlier today —
Yoko Ono (@yokoono) is now following your tweets (@SaffronCopper) on Twitter.

And yes, it’s the real one. I don’t know how she chooses who to follow, but this is great. I also checked out her site… If you haven’t seen it yet, then go to:

In other news, I’m a little disappointed in how some celebrities treat (or rather don’t treat) their fans on Twitter. I’m not sure I should give out names, but… I don’t know. Maybe I just take these things too personally.
Some other celebs are great though. Like Mélanie Laurent.

Did you have any unpleasant experiences with celebrities on twitter? Leave me a comment, I’d like to hear anything you wanna share.

Follow me on Twitter if you dare! @SaffronCopper :)

I think it’s possible Yoko Ono has someone working for her to manage her Twitter accounts. Otherwise, I have no idea either how she decides who to follow, but it appears as though she likes to follow others in the arts.

My biggest disappointment with a celebrity was hip hop artist Aesop Rock. I was trying to contact him regarding a project I was working on and he was super rude on Twitter. I still like his work, but it ruined my view of him as a person.

  2. People like Zooey Deschanel or for that matter anyone (a few times I tweeted Katy Perry for example and she *never* wrote me back) is that they have little time for tweeting (and even then they are doing it from their mobile phones I guess) AND they have millions of followers.

How to keep track of it?
